 In a survey of 125,000 coaches, more than 90% responding said that the number one challenge they faced in dealing with their athletes was the problem of drug and alcohol abuse.
Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been developing character in athletes and coaches in local communities nationwide by encouraging, equipping and empowering others to serve as examples and to make a difference. Through this shared passion for athletics and faith, lives are changed for current and future generations. FCA’s One Way to Play Drug Free (OW2P) program is one of America’s most effective faith-based drug and alcohol prevention programs. Since OW2P began in 1991, more than 400,000 students have committed to play drug and alcohol free with more than 73,000 making commitments last year.
